My view on advertising is not to turn a buck, but to help me offer better services (and prizes for those who participate in contests) to Author, Publishers and Readers of all genres. I have researched tons of information on how to price ads and certain measurements of those ads, however it's just too darn complicated for my purpose. I would rather just give placements of such ads and let you chose. The image size ranges from 200x200 - 400x400, I can adjust as necessary and within reasonable limits.
My goal is to be able to fund my own prizes, such as buying the Author's book and running a contest for it, instead of the Author having to put up a prize. In my opinion, it will help the sales of each author who contributes and bring in more readers by offering different things.
Well, this being the first ever venture for me in advertising, bear with me. This is what I would like to do. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to throw them my way.

(Large) Header ad space = 20.00/month
Includes your site or book banner, buy link, author link
(Large) Footer ad space = 10.00/month
Includes your site or book banner, buy link, author link
I will also include in all of above promo on my newsletter, Yahoo Group, Facebook, signature email line ( and any other way I can think of. :) )
